The room at Happy Hotel was so cozy and comfortable, perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring. I loved the thoughtful touches like free WiFi and free bottled water. The air conditioning was a lifesaver, and the cable TV provided great entertainment. The private bathroom with complimentary toiletries made me feel pampered. Plus, the room service was a great perk!
I personally found the room to be a bit simple for my taste, but others might still enjoy its minimalistic design.

We were able to stretch our budgets while exploring the vibrant city of Singapore. The accommodation was affordable and perfect for a group of friends on an adventure. We had a blast exploring popular tourist attractions like Gardens by the Bay and Sentosa Island. The hotel staff also provided us with valuable information on day trips that allowed us to make the most of our time in this cosmopolitan city. And the best part? The cable programming in our rooms kept us entertained after a long day of exploring!
If there's one thing we wished for better as young, party-going people, it would be more exciting nightlife options within walking distance of the hotel. While the hotel itself was cozy and provided a comfortable stay, we had to venture a bit further to find the vibrant nightlife scene that we were looking for.

For the price, this place is fine. The room was a bit old but that's the reality for a budget room. The friendly reception lady stands out from other nearby hotels. The location is exceptionally good, with easy access to public transport and a variety of dining options. The staff were friendly and helpful, serving with a smile. Good value for money and I would choose it again on future visits.
Would recommend this hotel.

The location of the hotel is great, being near a bus stop and in close proximity to many tourist spots. It is ideal for those who want to explore the city and have easy access to transportation.
The cleanliness of the hotel needs improvement, as some reviews mentioned issues with dirty rooms and stained bed sheets and towels.

The hotel staff are nice, and we were happy to have a Filipina receptionist who made communication easy. The room was exactly as shown in the pictures. The location is safe and convenient - with a bus stop just a few steps away. There are plenty of food stores and supermarkets nearby - so we never had to worry about where to eat.
100% Recommend.

As young travelers, we loved the convenience of the Happy Hotel's location near train stations and other transportation options. the late checkout until 12 noon allowed us to relax and take our time in the morning. the room itself, while small, was comfortable enough with a hot shower and a bed that, even though it was a bit hard, provided a good night's sleep. the staff, especially the front desk lady, were welcoming and helpful in providing information about places to see and how to get there. the hotel also offered value for money compared to other options in the area.
Felt like home, nothing to complain about.

Our stay at Hornbill Hotel was absolutely amazing! The receptionist, a super friendly Filipino lady, was incredibly helpful and made our experience even better. The basic amenities in the room were more than satisfactory, and the hot water shower was a lifesaver. The hotel's location was perfect, with a short walking distance to the MRT station and plenty of delicious eateries and shops nearby. The quiet side street also ensured a peaceful night's sleep. The free wifi was a bonus, as well as the electric kettle provided in the room. And to top it all off, the staff allowed us to leave our luggage after check-out, which was a huge convenience. We highly recommend this budget-friendly hotel for any budget travelers out there, it's definitely worth every penny!

The hotel had a great location, just a short walk to the nearest MRT station and plenty of restaurants nearby. the staff were also very friendly and helpful, providing useful tips and recommendations for exploring the area. the room was clean and comfortable, with a cozy bed and a good Wi-Fi connection.
the room was quite small and lacked storage space, making it difficult to keep my belongings organized. the shower had no screen or curtain, resulting in water splashing everywhere and making a mess.

Jaw-droppingly cheap price for an absolutely mind-blowing stay! The super comfortable bed and air-con were a dream, and having unlimited wifi made us feel like VIPs. The nearby coffeeshops and budget stores were a godsend, with plenty of delicious food options available 24/7. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, giving us great advice on local restaurants and places to visit. The small room size didn't even matter because the value we got for the price was off the charts! Highly recommended for backpackers looking for an excellent and affordable experience.

Location convenient, fast internet, helpful staff, good price/quality. Hotel slightly outdated but clean and comfortable. Floors and rooms decorated with flower theme. Recommend nearby eating places like Happy Eatery and Mufiz Prata. MRT within walking distance, tourist sites accessible. Superior rooms worth extra fee. Would not recommend for families or those seeking modern chain hotels. Enjoyed stay in Geylang.
